Art in the Library
Bourne End Library has played host to free visual art exhibitions since our extension opened in 2009. Thanks to the Friends of Bourne End Library, funds were raised to install a professional hanging system. Details of our current and forthcoming exhibitions are available on our Events page (link).
Rosemary Stops arranges our exhibition calendar and can be contacted via our enquiry form (link). It is also the venue for the Wooburn Festival Literary Week each September and serves as a box office for the entire arts festival. For more information on the Wooburn Festival, which celebrates its 50 th anniversary in 2016, please visit http://www.wooburn.com/.
Other artistic ventures have included gigs by The Crookes and Daisy Dares You (which was Pick of the Week in the Sunday Times Culture supplement!), a music and poetry workshop with Children’s Laureate Julia Donaldson and themed craft sessions.
